NRS is excited to welcome you to our Fall Conference, to be held in-person on October 26-28, 2021 at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, CA.

Your health and safety remain our top priority. We are working closely with the hotel and regularly reviewing CDC, San Diego county and state guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable event for everyone. We will continue to update you here as safety protocols evolve. Please review the updated protocols below for more information. These guidelines are subject to change. Please check back frequently for updates.

For Attendees / Exhibitors

  • For the safety of all participants involved, we are requiring that everyone wear a face mask while indoors participating in conference activities.
  • All participants will be required to sign a ‘health and safety’ acknowledgement attesting to their health and agreement to follow the event protocols.
  • There will be a healthcare ambassador available throughout the event and their contact information will be communicated daily through the conference app.
  • Attendee, speaker and exhibitor packets, will be minimized and the event will be paperless wherever possible.
  • Hand sanitizing bubble-stations will also be provided by the hotel and be accessible throughout the event space. Additionally, NRS will provide hand sanitizing sprays and masks.
  • We are working with the facility to ensure that our layout and protocols take social distancing and capacity into account. Signage and other directional components will be present at the conference for your safety.
  • NRS has adopted several exhibitor best practices based on industry standards to ensure a safer experience for all attendees and exhibitors.
  • Whenever possible, meals and receptions will be held outdoors in an open environment.
  • The conference will have ‘no-self-serve’ buffets. All meals will be ‘plated’ or serviced buffets.
  • Extra space will be afforded between seats to ensure proper distancing during sessions and meals.
  • To facilitate networking with your peers, NRS will be providing a wearable indicator of each person’s comfort level with personal interactions that will make networking safe and less awkward.
  • We will add extra time between sessions to allow for more frequent cleaning.
